Rich Hoffman, did a great video on the Drag Queen Story Hour performed at a local coffee shop, Coterie Lounge and Cafe. This "performance," by Roxie, who hops around on stage with sub-par choreography and vocals, singing it's okay to be horny, is looking for validation for his sexually deviant fantasies from innocent little children. What type man seeks validation from children about his sexually perverted hobby? They are coming for your children. They want to corrupt and groom your child to be just like them, sexually deviant with a lifestyle full of sin and heartache so that they can feel validated that this lifestyle is okay, because deep down inside, they know it is not and they know it is wrong. My friend Marcia Galik spoke at the West Chester Trustee meeting this evening regarding concerns on the potential Nexus 42 development by 42 and Cox. This development will be 11.4 acres with 82 units and 19 buildings, with 7.2 dwellings per acre and 42% open space. There is only one entrance and exit, which is off Highway 42. There's no public access on Cox, but there is a gated closure for emergency vehicles. The target homeowner would be single parents, due to the $380,000 to $390,000 price point, or retirees, but also those who want to live in West Chester but can't afford a house with property. The biggest concern is the traffic, with an increase of approximately 164 vehicles. Peak traffic is 39 trips. I'm not quite sure if that's entry and exit, and the gentleman could not clarify when I asked. Also, there's a potential for more crime moving into that area, as well as more unruly students attending West. Another concern that was expressed was the increased burden on schools with that many family homes. They're really jam-packing a lot of homes in a small little area and it is not conducive to the property. One Community member mentioned that this is not what is best for the community and it is not looking out for the betterment for those who live around that area. Also, several gentlemen spoke about the retention pond regarding concerns with flooding. That area has been known to flood, especially with our rain lately. Community members are not confident they will not be affected by overflow from the pond and subsequent flooding. My favorite was the gentleman in the wheelchair who was concerned about the five deer and two coyotes that he often sees in that area and the wildlife that will be affected. I personally do not think this is the best idea, and I'm concerned about traffic, especially with the new Kroger coming in. It's already so bad. Also, there's only one entrance. It appears to me someone wants to pack in as many homes as they can and make the most profit without really thinking about the ramifications for the community. There is a traffic review or study will be coming out in a few days. This area is already congested with a usage of 10,000 vehicles per day. There is also a kids baseball organization (PYO) across the street with dozens of games per week during the season. The West Chester Trustees vote for approval will be at the May 12th West Chester Trustee meeting. There is nothing more hateful than perverting and sexualizing children. Given what we now know about the reality of pedophilia in our country and around the world, only the most disgusting and depraved could actually be proud of an event like this… I mean, how sick do you have to be?
